At Smart Medals we want to make our website smartmedals.com as accessible as possible in accordance with Royal Decree 1112/2018, of September 7, on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications in the public sector , even though our entity is not obliged to comply with these requirements because it is a private company.

The main reason is that we have always tried to guarantee equality and non-discrimination in access to the web portal for all people who contact us, particularly those with disabilities or difficulties in using digital technologies.

For this reason, our website has been designed in accordance with the minimum requirements demanded by the regulations, but we have also implemented a continuous maintenance and updating process that takes into account the demands of all users, always seeking to ensure that our content is perceptible, operable, understandable and robust.

Technical aspects and certifications

Our website is optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher, as well as the latest versions of Firefox, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome. The minimum recommended web resolution is 1280×1024 on desktop computers.

In addition, it can be accessed from any tablet or mobile device, being optimized for viewing in the latest versions of Chrome for mobile, Firefox for mobile, Safari mobile, Opera Mini and the native Android browser.

We have ensured that our content is available in multiple formats (pdf, xls) to ensure compatibility wherever possible, and have checked that there are no hyperlinks to offline pages or content.

This website does not yet comply with RD 1112/2018 or UNE, but we are working to meet the levels that will allow us to achieve an AA or AAA certification, for the UNE 139803 standard and, therefore, the accessibility guidelines of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative).

This statement was prepared on February 1, 2025 .

The method used to prepare the declaration was an internal self-assessment carried out by our own staff.

Last revised declaration: 1 February 2025 .
